Finding a rug that fits your space, aesthetic, color palette, and budget can feel like one of the most intimidating decor endeavors. But when you find the right piece that ties complements your curtains and soft wood of your console table, it's like a match made in heaven—or maybe even a match made by the Queen herself. Dearest readers, Lady Whistledown has a new announcement to make, and this one is all about interior design (not the latest scandal in the Ton).

On February 27, Ruggable is launching a new Modern Regency collection featuring five opulent styles designed in partnership with Netflix’s beloved series, Bridgerton (which returns with Season 3, Part 1, on May 16), and featuring motifs inspired by the show. (Ruggable has also created six modern regency designs to complement the Bridgerton styles.) As you’d expect, the styles are named to emphasize the Bridgerton connection, with labels like Sophia, Royal Garden, Provence Toile, Night of Enchantment, Lady Whistledown, and House of Bridgerton.

Sophia comes in a light beige and features a simple, elegant pattern you would see embroidered on the dresses of Bridgerton characters. If you’re drawn to florals, Royal Garden and Lady Whistledown offer soft, pastel designs blooming with a flower pattern. Make a statement with the bold, colorful prints in Night of Enchantment, or create a classic aesthetic with the soft-toned hues in the House of Bridgerton rug.

“As longtime fans of the Bridgerton series, we’re excited to create a collection that embodies the dreamy, opulent aesthetic of the Regency era, and bring it to the modern home,” said Emily Simmons, creative director of Ruggable, in a statement. “Following Bridgerton, we’re continually in awe of the regalia and fashion that the series recreates. With our Ruggable x Bridgerton collection, we are embracing the romance and feminine glamor of the era, with a modern twist. Regency patterns, Rococo-inspired embellishments, and bold colors like these can make such a fun statement in the home, while elevating any interior.”

One of the (many) highlights of watching Bridgerton is taking in the colorful, romantic spaces inhabited by the series’s scandal-prone characters; while these spaces take some modern liberties, all have design roots that can be traced back to the Regency period, where the series is set. Similarly, these Ruggable x Bridgerton designs provide a modern take on the popular Regencycore aesthetic. The rugs show off soft pastels, delicate patterns, and romance—perfectly in tune with 2024 design trends. (After all, according to Etsy’s 2024 decor predictions, this year is full of romantic themes.)

To go all-in on Recencycore, you can start with one of these opulent rugs as your foundation, then incorporate pastels; small, decorative accents; luxurious materials; ornate patterns; and dramatic drapes. Create symmetry with your furniture layout by mirroring seating areas on either side of the room, anchoring them with a coffee table placed in the center.

The Ruggable x Bridgerton collaboration features Ruggable’s trademark washability. The collection is available from Ruggable, with prices starting at $119, starting February 27.
