The beloved couple introduced modern farmhouse decor to millions of homeowners who took to heart Joanna’s love of moody color paired with neutrals, barn doors, pale wood, and, of course, shiplap. Now, the design dream team is back with their latest flip on their most recent show, Fixer-Upper: The Lakehouse. “We’re so excited to see how Chip and Jo will tackle this lakehouse in Waco and flex their renovation and design muscles in ways our viewers have never seen before," Magnolia Network president Allison Page said. 4 Secrets to Decorating with Moody Paint Colors, According to Joanna Gaines Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse is a six-episode show featuring a mid-century modern lakefront home in a Waco neighborhood the couple hasn't yet graced with their renovation magic. The teaser trailer, posted on Magnolia Network's YouTube channel on March 5, shows Joanna walking through the spacious property, full of stunning floor-to-ceiling windows, a chef's kitchen with stainless steel accents, and a stunning view. She's in search of her husband, calling out his name: "We got a demo," she says. She finds him clad in overalls, floating in the lake. The show is sure to feature more of Chip’s expert construction and goofy jokes, along with Joanna’s always-inspirational design and enduring patience for Chip’s aforementioned humor (as exhibited in the trailer). While it's unlikely you'll see any shiplap in this redesign, her signature touches, including unique paint colors and gorgeous area rugs, are likely to make an appearance. “When Fixer Upper premiered 10 years ago, we couldn’t have imagined the journey we had ahead of us,” the Gaines' said in a statement. “Though a lot has changed and evolved in the decade between then and now, our love for home is still at the heart of everything we do. We feel honored that we get to continue pouring into the stories of these homes across Waco, and we’re excited to share our latest project with you this summer with Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse.” Get an Inside Look at Joanna Gaines's Garden at the Silos for Ideas You Can Steal Chip and Joanna have been very busy during the past decade, launching their network, Magnolia, and turning sleepy Waco, Texas, into a destination point for throngs of fans.
