Sarah Brekke has over a decade of experience as a culinary specialist with The Better Homes & Gardens Test Kitchen. Sarah attended Iowa State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary Science. While there, she worked as a teaching assistant and undergraduate researcher focusing on food chemistry and processing. She then went on to earn her Master of Science degree in Food Science with an emphasis in sensory evaluation from Kansas State University.
